A look at the current Hub interface and some of the tools available in the application.
Trent's Tuning Hub is a collection of Windows tools for the stuff that comes up while working with calibration files. Fuel calculations, transmission calculations, checksum correction and Ford flashing tools are all being brought together in one application.
What it is
The Hub started out as a small collection of tuning calculators and utilities. It has grown quite a bit since then.
The current version includes fuel and transmission utilities, EEC-V checksum correction, Ford IPC/PPC checksum correction and early Black Oak 1472K CAN read/write flashing support.
Ford strategy support is being added as each strategy is tested. If a strategy isn't supported yet, there is also a way to request it so it can be added to the development list.
What's in the Hub
Everything currently available in the application is listed here. Some of the Ford tools are still actively being expanded as more strategies are tested.
Quick fuel calculations without having to pull out a calculator every time a calibration change needs to be worked out.
Injector data used during calibration work, including the values needed for common Ford injector setups.
Shift RPM and OSS calculations for several common Ford and Dodge automatic transmissions.
Checksum calculation and correction for supported EEC-V calibration binaries.
Ford IPC and PPC checksum correction with ECU-specific address handling and support for multiple protected regions.
Support for selected Black Oak strategies is now being tested inside the Hub. More strategies will be added as testing is completed.
Read and write flashing support for Black Oak 1472K CAN is now in the Hub. This part of the application is still being actively tested.
Ford IPC / PPC Support
These are the Ford ECU types and strategy / catch-code combinations currently supported by the IPC/PPC checksum correction utility. Support is expanded as additional files are tested.
Version 1.0.1.1
The latest release is a bigger update than the version number might make it look. The main focus was Ford checksum handling, strategy support, Binary Editor work, and the first Black Oak 1472K CAN flashing implementation.
Added checksum correction support for the 2003 F350 6.0 Black Oak 448K, 2004 BA Falcon I6 Black Oak 1472K CAN, 2006 F550 V10 Spanish Oak 1024K, and 2014 Mustang GT 5.0L Copperhead 2048K.
IPC and PPC checksum correction now handles overlapping protected areas, dependency ordering, full-file verification, failed verification rollback, and protection against unintended checksum changes.
Read and write flashing support has been added for Black Oak 1472K CAN using the OBDX Pro FT. Flashing is still under active testing and development.
Added a utility for working with Binary Editor encrypted customer tune files using the .BEB file format.
